Note di degustazione
The 2015 Elu is starting to peak, judging by contours that are beginning to fray around the edges. There's a bit of edginess in the tannins that is typical of many wines in this vintage. My impression is that the fruit is starting to drop out. This is a wine to drink now.

A blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 7% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Proprietary Red Elu displays a medium to deep garnet-purple color and a blackberry tart, red currant jelly, black cherry pie and mulberry-scented nose with hints of pencil shavings and cloves. The medium to full-bodied palate reveals soft, plush tannins and is packed with juicy fruit, finishing long with some peppery notes coming through.
