The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Dollarhide Estate Vineyard is packed with inky dark fruit, chocolate, licorice, spice and incense. This fleshy, voluptuous Cabernet Sauvignon has aged well and has another decade of life ahead of it. Succulent contours add to its considerable allure. The oak imprint is rather pronounced, as was the style at the time.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Dollarhide Estate Vineyard opens with crushed black currant and red plum notes with underlying notes of tree bark, bay leaves, black olives and cracked pepper. The medium-bodied palate is finely crafted and refreshing in the mouth, with the grainy tannins complementing the youthful fruit, finishing with an herbal lift. This was tasted as a barrel sample.
