The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon NOMAD Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, from a great site in St. Helena, is deep purple and has rocking notes of blackcurrants, chocolate, tobacco leaf, and damp, gravelly earth. It shows the more linear, straight style of the vintage yet has beautiful purity of fruit, ripe tannins, and just everything in the right place. It's a stunning wine.
