2022 Carlisle Compagni Portis

A silver/straw color, the 2022 Compagni Portis is an eclectic field blend of Gewürztraminer, Trousseau Gris, Riesling, and various other white grapes. It’s fresh and dewy on the nose, with notes of quince, white grapefruit, wet stone, candied citrus, and red apple. Medium-bodied and refreshing, it has a lovely chalky texture and a mouthwatering feel, with a clean lift and nothing overpowering in its profile. A gorgeous blend with a lot of versality in this fully dry style, it’s absolutely delicious. I love where this is now.
