The 2019 Zinfandel Limerick Lane Vineyard shows all of the textural intensity that is typical of this site on the Russian River close to Dry Creek and Alexander Valley. The contrasts with the other Russian River Zinfandels in the range is telling. Here bright acids and razor-sharp tannins convey energy, but with less meat on the bones. This super-classic Zinfandel needs aeration and time in bottle. It is incredibly distinctive and well worth that investment of time.
