1999 Mueller Family Vineyards Pinot Noir Summa Vineyard

Healthy red-ruby color. Musky, leesy aromas of bitter cherry and nutty, smoky oak. Rich, sappy, sweet and harmonious; a real wall of fruit. Opened with aeration to reveal complex flavors of raspberry, red cherry and rose petal, plus a suggestion of smoked meat on the strong finish. Tannins are buried by fruit extract. Very impressive.
