Note di degustazione
The 2020 Meursault Boucheres 1er Cru has a rather reticent bouquet. It's neutral in style with a hint of lanolin and Mirabelle, though I would like more Meursault expression. The palate has a fresh and citric opening, showing commendable weight and tension. There is a pleasing sharpness considering the warmth of the growing season, but I detect a little alcohol right on the finish that blurs the edges. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

The 2020 Meursault 1er Cru Bouchères offers up aromas of pear, green apple, citrus zest, almonds and toasted hazelnuts, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered palate that's concentrated and vibrant, with an impressively tightly wound core of fruit and a long, saline finish.
Tank sample, racked one week ago. Three months in tank before bottling. Mid lemon; light and fine with a crystalline acidity. Powerful and long. (MH)
