Full bottle 1,197 g. 37% Galleron vineyard (Rutherford), 20% Navone vineyard (Rutherford), 16% Williams Rossi vineyard (Rutherford), 12% Longwood Ranch (Napa), 10% Chavez–Leeds vineyard (Rutherford), 5% neighbour ranches to Rossi including Golubchik, Faherty and Cummings vineyards. 100% whole-cluster pressed to tank, 2–3 hours' skin contact in the press. Juice was inoculated with active dry wine yeast before cold fermentation (~55 °F) occurred over 14 days in a mix of stainless steel and concrete eggs. Aged in 95% stainless steel, the remaining 5% in concrete vessels. 6 months sur lie. Pale lemon. Grassy, just-ripe papaya nose. Lean and characterful with a touch of green pepper on the palate, a broad texture from lees work and bright acidity. GV (SCJ)
