Note di degustazione
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon SOLO has a gorgeous nose of sweet cassis, scorched earth, and graphite. This carries to a medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon that has solid mid-palate depth, a structured, focused mouthfeel, and outstanding length. Coming all from the Stags Leap District and all varietal, it's impressive and should benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age.

All Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate vineyard in Stags Leap District, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Solo lacks the drama of the 2019, but it remains a solid effort. Cassis and black cherries are framed by firm but ripe tannins in this medium-bodied wine that retains a classic build and a sense of age-worthiness on the long finish.
Full bottle 1,640 g. pH 3.54. 600 cases produced. Inky purple colour. Black fruit on the nose with a light spice. Spice intensifies on the palate. Acidity is fresh and well balanced against fine-grained sticky tannin. Just like in the Geo, there's nice spice to the finish but not much fruit. (SCJ)
