Note di degustazione
The 2012 Pinot Noir comes from Dijon 777 and 115 clones and was picked on October 9; it matured for ten months in 25% new French oak. It has a rather sultry bouquet with dark berry fruit, briary and subtle undergrowth scents. It doesn't rush out to you with open arms. The palate is very smooth on the entry with kirsch, red plum and orange zest notes, the acidity well judged and a sensual finish that just glides across the mouth. This is a well-crafted Pinot Noir from winemaker Tom Fitzpatrick.

Vivid red. Ripe red berries, sassafras, lavender and a hint of mocha on the deeply perfumed nose. Plush and broad in the mouth, offering pliant black raspberry and cola flavors lifted by a peppery note. Ample but lively Pinot with very good closing thrust and length, no obvious tannins and persistent berry character.
