2018 Rocca Cabernet Sauvignon Collinetta A24/L138

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Rocca-Collinetta Vineyard is impressive, with a beautiful nose of ripe blackcurrants, toasted spices, graphite, chocolate, and leafy herbs. This carries to a full-bodied, structured Cabernet with building tannins, plenty of jammy, youthful fruit, a good spine of acidity, and a great finish. It has an almost cool-climate style aromatically yet brings serious fruit on the palate. It needs 2-3 years of bottle age to meld into form and should keep for 10-12 years or more.
