2011 Patton Valley Pinot Noir West Block

Vivid red. Ripe, spice-tinged red fruit preserve and floral aromas show surprising depth for the vintage. Taut and sharply focused, offering bitter cherry and redcurrant flavors and a hint of candied orange. The energy of the vintage come through clearly here. Finishes incisive and long, with subtle tannins and lingering spiciness. No fat here, for sure.
