Note di degustazione
From 27-year-old vines, the 2022 Chardonnay Dundee Reserve is a bright silver straw hue and has a light reductive note, as well as notes of fresh alpine herbs, citrus pith, quince, green apple, and wet stone. Medium-bodied, it is refreshing and long on the palate, with a chalky texture, clean lift, and a long, even finish. Drink it over the next 6-8 years.

The 2022 Chardonnay Dundee Hills Reserve comes from Cody and Marque Wright's new Haakon Lenai Vineyard. Fermented and matured in stainless steel, it opens with touches of matchstick and takes some time to reveal scents of yellow apples, meringue, beeswax and almonds. The light-bodied palate features understated, flinty fruit and spicy tones. Its lightly creamy texture is balanced by vibrant acidity, and it has a long, gently leesy finish. It will benefit from a year or two in bottle or some time in a decanter.
