2009 Notre Vin Pinot Noir Clos Madeleine

Medium red. Red berries, loam and spices on the soil-inflected nose. Smooth, earthy flavors of black raspberry and smoke convey a distinctly Old World character. Very supple, lush pinot that's more about soil than primary fruit.
