The best of these communal bottlings is the 2018 Meursault Les Narvaux. Offering up aromas of orange oil, white flowers and musky peach, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and saline, with a layered core of fruit and a saline finish. It was matured in foudre.

Cask sample. A blend of ripe nectarines with a sleek and rich sheen to it. I love the fruit profile here, unctuous and silky with a lovely honeyed and caramel finish. (AC)
