Note di degustazione
The 2009 Zinfandel R.W. Moore Vineyard is plush, deep and beautifully balanced. The wine opens with a burst of dark fruit that follows through nicely to the creamy, generous finish laced with black cherries, menthol and sweet herbs. This is another strong showing from Biale.

(15.5% alcohol; from a vineyard near Coombsville that was first planted in 1905): Medium red. Slightly jammy aromas of redcurrant and loam. Velvety, lush and easygoing; sweet but a bit featureless, offering moderate intensity and nuance. This shows its alcohol today more than the other Biale zinfandels do. Finishes a bit fiery, but with light tannins that won't get in the way of drinking this wine young.
