2014 Storybook Mountain Zinfandel Eastern Exposures

The 2014 Zinfandel Eastern Exposures, usually the Zinfandel that Jerry Seps prefers consumers to drink first, shows a certain earthy, herbal note, seems compact and hollow on the palate and finishes rather austerely. This is not one of his better efforts, as this is usually one of the more sexy and seductive Zinfandels made at Storybook Mountain. However, this certainly isn’t one of them. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
