From 45 year old vines. Pure red fruit on the nose with light sweet spice. Silk textured on the palate with fresh acidity and concentrated red fruit crunch. Beautiful balance and long length. Dec 2015Dec 2015

They always have to chaptalise 0.5% or so because the site is so cool. Light nose and very sweet, candified fruit on the palate. Far from the purest 2014 I have tasted. I wonder whether there is just a tad too much chaptalisation? A little drying and simple on the end. (JR)
