Note di degustazione
The 2010 Blanc De Blancs is beautiful in its aromas of custard, lemon balm, peach, and pastry. Full-bodied, with elegant and fresh acidity that lifts it off the palate in a wonderful way, it has a fine mousse, notes of apple skin, Meyer lemon, and rocky earth, and great energy throughout. Drink 2024-2040.

Disgorged in February 2015, the 2010 Blanc de Blancs Heintz Vineyard is tertiary on the nose with scents of saline, pencil shavings, iodine and mushroom powder. The light-bodied palate is soft and dry with surprisingly tangy acidity, mineral-driven character and a savory finish. This won't continue to improve in bottle, so drink up!
The 2010 Blanc de Blancs Charles Heintz Vineyard Late Disgorged is absolutely brilliant and also one of the very best wines I have tasted from Michael Cruse. Bright, sculpted and dripping with energy, the 2010 dazzles at the very first taste. The citrus peel, crushed rock, white pepper and floral notes are drawn with a thin pencil in this super-expressive Blanc de Blancs. Readers who can get their hands on one of the 300 or so bottles should not hesitate, as the 2010 is arrestingly beautiful. Bottled with no dosage.
