(at 14.6%, this is the highest in alcohol among these 2002 chardonnays) Highly nuanced nose offers lemon, pineapple, minerals, pear skin and creme brulee Dense, thick, rich and powerful, with a distinctly oily texture. Superripe hint of lemon candy supported by underlying minerality. Very chewy and long on the aftertaste, with a hint of alcoholic warmth.

Powerful, full-bodied, rich, and intensely concentrated, but oh, so pure and delineated, this knock-out offering will benefit from another 4-6 months of aging, and will drink well for 4-5 years.
