Note di degustazione
The 2005 Pinot Noir Sevens Bench is a richer, fleshier species of Pinot Noir, with hints of spring flowers intermixed with black cherry and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied with good acidity, outstanding ripeness, and a long, layered finish, it is a beautiful Pinot for drinking over the next 4-6 years. New winemaker Jeff Mangahas has replaced the talented Mike Sullivan and has turned out a bevy of impressive wines. Hartford Court is undeniably one of the gems in Jess Jackson’s portfolio of boutique wineries. Tel. (800) 588-0234; Fax (800) 600-5895

Medium red. Ripe cherry and spicecake aromas, with tobacco and musky spice tones. Full-bodied and rich, with powerful cherry and blackberry flavors supported by serious tannins. A big, dense wine with a long, chewy finish. This could be served with the heartiest red meat dishes.
