Note di degustazione
Philo neighbourhood. A blend of clones Dijon 115, Dijon 667, Dijon 777, Pommard, Wädenswil 2A, Swan and Martini. Aged for 16 months in 75% new French oak. 196 cases produced. Dark garnet. Smells of sweet oak and black-raspberry fruit. Juicy raspberry and cherry flavours are shot through with sweet oak and hints of citrus peel. Fleecy tannins coat the mouth and gradually stiffen with time, drying the mouth. Rich, but really nicely balanced. Just too much wood influence here. (AY)

The 2021 Pinot Noir Angel Camp is flush with warming winter spice, smoky cedar, forest floor, and black cherry. Full-bodied, it offers ample ripe black raspberry, tea leaf, and crushed stones through the palate along with meaty iron-rich earth, and it has a good, ripe texture. Drink 2023-2030.
