2011 Goldeneye Pinot Noir Confluence Vineyard

The 2011 Pinot Noir Confluence Vineyard emerges from the heart of the Anderson Valley, adjacent to the Navarro River. It is one of the most complex of these Pinots, revealing notes of forest floor, underbrush, plum, black cherry and currants in a medium to full-bodied, supple, creamy textured style. Lush, fleshy, pure and Burgundian-like, it tastes like a premier cru, possibly even a grand cru from Morey-St.-Denis. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
