2014 JCB Knockout

The 2014 Proprietary Red Knockout is an amazing blend of 68% Petite Sirah and 32% Cabernet Sauvignon coming from both their Rutherford Estate and the westside of St. Helena. Aged 19 months in 32% new French oak, there are only three barrels, or 75 cases, but this is a killer wine with notes of violets, blackberry, blueberry and incense, followed by a wine of incredible intensity, massive extract and a color that is nothing short of black/purple. This is a wine that will probably last 40-50 years.
