2012 Bure Family Chardonnay Malena Ritchie Vineyard

Apricot pit, peach, mint, sweet spices, French oak and almonds meld together in the 2012 Chardonnay Malena Ritchie Vineyard. Soft, supple and nicely textured, the 2012 is quite pretty, although the volatile acidity is elevated enough to be noticeable. The 2012 is a bit laid back for a Luc Morlet Chardonnay, but it should continue to drink well for at least another handful of years.
