Note di degustazione
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Drew Vineyard is a nicely balanced Mount Veeder Cabernet with plenty of darker currant and blackberry fruits as well as some classic brambly herbs, crushed stone, and tobacco like-aromatics. Some rock-solid mountain tannins show on the palate, and it's medium to full-bodied, has good mid-palate depth, and solid length on the finish. It's going to benefit from just a few years of bottle age and should see its 20th birthday in fine form. It's not the biggest or longest wine in the lineup, but it's classic, balanced, undeniably impressive 2019. 340 cases.

Blackberry, dark-chocolate and black-olive aromas follow through to a full body with firm, chewy tannins that are polished and beautiful. Typical mountain-fruit character. Needs two or three years to soften. Try after 2025.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Drew Vineyard shows plenty of Mount Veeder savoriness and tannin. The Drew is also the most aromatic and nuanced of these Cabernets. Lavender, spice, menthol, plum and crème de cassis are all finely knit in a Cabernet that delivers power and elegance. The 2019 is gorgeous.
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Drew Vineyard leaps with vibrant notes of black cherries, mulberries and baked blackcurrants, plus hints of spice cake and potpourri. Medium to full-bodied with bags of juicy black fruits, ripe, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, it finishes with great length and a spicy lift.
