Dark ruby. Aromas of dark berries, singed plum and licorice, with a floral quality that gains strength with air. Ripe blackberry and bitter cherry flavors show a smooth, open-knit character and a kick of black pepper adds back-end lift and bite. Finishes on a gently smoky note, with gentle tannins providing shape.
