The 2015 Cabernet Franc Hirondelle Vineyard comes across as very ripe and racy next to the other wines in the range. Sumptuous on the palate, with tons of Franc aromatic nuance, the 2015 is decidedly overt. I imagine it will drink well upon release and for at least several years thereafter.

The 2015 Cabernet Franc Hirondelle Estate, containing 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, reveals a deep purple-black color and nose of warm red currants, kirsch and mulberries with hints of pencil shavings, bay leaves, red loam and charcuterie. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers plenty of red fruit and earthy flavors, with a chewy backbone and plenty of freshness, finishing long.
