Note di degustazione
The deep garnet-purple colored 2007 Syrah Chico's Hill leaps from the glass with flamboyant crème de cassis and blueberry pie notes with touches of licorice, Chinese five spice and peppered steak. Full-bodied, big-boned and with bags of flesh, it has a solid frame of grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing very long and very spicy. This is still so incredibly youthful!

Opaque purple. Red berry and cherry aromas are complemented by notes of violet, black olive and smoky minerals. Juicy, refreshingly bitter red and dark berry flavors offer good nervy punch and show little in the way of tannins. This sleek rendition of California syrah finishes with impressive clarity, spiciness and persistence. I'll bet that this will age well on its balance.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
