2015 Gary Farrell Pinot Noir Fort Ross-Seaview

The 2015 Pinot Noir Fort Ross Vineyard is pale ruby-purple in color with quite a stemmy nose, featuring dried herbs, tree bark and black pepper notions over a core of red cherries and mulberries plus a waft of new leather. Medium-bodied, it delivers mouth-filling herbal and earth layers with a suggestion of red fruit; framed by chewy tannins, it finishes with appealing freshness. 341 cases were made.
