Note di degustazione
(mostly from purchased fruit) Deep medium ruby. Superripe aromas of black cherry, coffee, mocha and chocolate; slightly reduced and a bit roasted. Supersweet but quite closed, even a bit brutal, today, with strong acids keeping the dark chocolate flavors under wraps. A rather zin-like syrah, finishing with huge, youthfully tough tannins. Roasted but not pruney. In an awkward stage today.

(15. 2% alcohol) Deep ruby. Roasted black cherry, blackberry and game on the port-like nose. Rich, gamey and roasted syrah that's ultimately rather dry, with woodsy and nut skin flavors. Fat and sweet but could use more freshness. Finishes with dusty tannins.
