2010 Bedrock Papa's All-Blacks

Bright purple. Intensely perfumed aromas of boysenberry preserves and cassis, accented by candied violet and cracked pepper. Deep, focused, structured wine with palate-staining black and blue fruit character and a touch of bitter chocolate. Hints of cherry pit and licorice emerge on the youthfully tannic finish, which shows excellent length and sweetness.
