Note di degustazione
A mix of musky dried apples and nectarines under an air of vanilla custard and stone dust wafts up from the 2007 Verdicchio di Matelica. It washes across the palate with silky textural heft and mineral-laced orchard fruits, yet the expression is one of total elegance. While finishing a bit short, the 2007 leaves the palate cleansed and with a crisp sensation. This is starting to fade.

The 2007 Verdicchio di Matelica is a pure, mineral-driven white loaded with white peaches and flowers that all meld together in a focused, energetic style. The wine possesses lovely depth as well as commendable harmony.
The 2007 Verdicchio di Matelica is a pure, mineral-driven white loaded with white peaches and flowers that all meld together in a focused, energetic style. The wine possesses lovely depth as well as commendable harmony. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2011. Verdicchio is one of the joys of Italian oenology that rarely gets the respect it deserves, and few producers do it better than Bisci.
