2006 Hollywood & Vine Cabernet Sauvignon

(100% cabernet sauvignon, made from purchased fruit from five properties stretching from Spring Mountain to Coombsville) Good full ruby-red. Cassis, licorice and bitter chocolate on the nose. Juicy and fruit-driven, with good cut to the flavors of cassis, spices, mocha and minerals. Offers good density but comes across as a bit tight today. Finishes with substantial chewy, slightly drying tannins.
