Tasted blind. Rich, heady, exotically floral and really concentrated and ambitious. (JR)

The 2015 Clos Haut-Peyraguey is powerful and a little oaky on the nose, with dried honey, orange pith, stem ginger and toffee apple aromas, though it needs more delineation. The palate is very pure and medium-bodied with a viscous entry, a fine line of acidity and plenty of botrytized fruit toward the caramel-tinged finish. The 2015 is seductive. Tasted blind at the 2015 Bordeaux Ten-Year-On tasting at Farr Vintners.
The 2015 Clos Haut-Peyraguey has a lovely quince and marmalade scented bouquet with just a hint of kiwi fruit tucked underneath. The palate is well balanced with a viscous texture, well judged acidity, notes of dried honey and ginger toward the persistent finish. Very fine, smooth and seductive, though not the most profound. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.
Tasted blind. Complete and fresh and as it should be with a bit of bite, but not a standout. (JR)
