2009 Eric Kent Chardonnay Russian River Valley

Bright yellow. Fresh pineapple and pear on the nose, with a hint of quinine and good clarity. Sappy, penetrating tropical and orchard fruit flavors stain the palate and pick up a smoky, leesy quality with air. Shows a lot of forward fruit today and finishes with very good breadth, punch and tenacity.
