2015 Winderlea Pinot Noir Crawford-Beck Vineyard

(20% new French oak): Deep red. Smoke-tinged red fruit and floral scents are complemented by subtle cola and cracked pepper nuances. Gently sweet and focused on the palate, offering lively cherry and red currant flavors that deepen steadily on the back half. Shows excellent nerve, focus and spicy lift on the red-fruit-dominated finish, which is shaped by dusty, slow-building tannins.
