2015 Failla Syrah Estate Fort Ross-Seaview

The 2015 Syrah Estate Vineyard is another powerhouse wine from Failla. Dark red fruit, smoke, licorice, rose petal and spice infuse this deep, huge Syrah built on serious concentration. The Estate Syrah packs a serious punch. I would prefer to cellar it for at least a few years. There is so much going on here, but the style is all about fruit intensity, with fewer of the savory notes that are found in the Hudson.
