Note di degustazione
The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Poissenot 1er Cru is one of the most reticent wines in the range today. Time in the glass brings out a more gracious, lifted side that plays off the red cherry, mint and rose petal flavors nicely. There is good depth in the 2015, but the wine also needs time in bottle for some of the slightly angular edges to soften.

The 2015 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru les Poissenots comes from a low yielding parcel that graces Remoissenet with just a couple of barrels each year. The nose is lifted and perfumed with red cherry and cranberry scents, just a subtle flintiness in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with smooth red cherry and strawberry fruit, just a touch of sour cherry towards the finish lending it the edginess it deserves.
Bright dark red. Alluring soil-driven aromas of cherry, raspberry and flowers. Juicy, delicate and firm, conveying a chalky, high-altitude combe quality. Redder in its fruit character than most of these 2015s, possessing good mineral sappiness and a very fine-grained texture. Not a thick wine but finishes with real snap.
