A bright straw/silver color, the 2022 Roussanne/Marsanne Estate is lovely and fresh at this stage and is only going to improve with age. It shows off notes of fresh melon, and it’s medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a light resinous notes of salty almond and a long finish. It also has a good deal of refreshing acidity that’s not expected and a great deal of mineral persistence. It’s going to open up and flesh out with time, and it will be terrific at the table. Drink 2025-2035.
