Note di degustazione
The 2021 Chardonnay Bootlegger's Hill was barrel fermented and matured for 16 months in 30% new French oak. It has open, inviting aromas of apricot, honeysuckle, roasted almonds and flint. The light-bodied palate balances creamy flavors with tangy acidity, and a touch of textural grip drives a long finish. 193 cases were made.

A bright straw/silver color, the 2021 Chardonnay Bootlegger's Hill is flinty and refined on the nose, with notes of fresh pear, white flowers, preserved lime, and delicate white pepper and oak spice. Medium to full-bodied, it‘s mouthwatering from the start, with persistent saline notes, bright acidity, and a good deal of tension. It’s going to do well to see another year in bottle and can be enjoyed over the following 10 years. Only 193 cases were produced.
