The 2004 Pinot Noir Chenoweth Ranch exhibits a medium ruby color along with a spicy, earthy, forest floor-scented bouquet, firm tannin, medium body, and little depth. (the winery's first bottling from this vineyard in Green Valley featuring all Dijon clones) Good full deep red. Fruit-driven aromas of blackberry, black plum and pepper. Juicy and penetrating, with sappy black fruit flavors enlivened by firm acidity. The wine's peppery finishing flavor gives the tannins a faint dryness.
