The 2015 Cuvée Jeanne Marie checks in as 60% Grenache, 23% Syrah and the rest Mourvèdre, all from the Williamson-Dore Vineyard outside of Los Olivos. It's a sappy, vibrant, juicy red that has lots of Syrah-like darker berry fruits, peppery herbs, and tapenade notes, medium-bodied richness, nicely integrated acidity, and beautiful purity of fruit. Drink it over the coming 5-7 years.

The 2015 Cuvée Jeanne Marie Williamson-Doré Vineyard, Foxen's Grenache/Syrah/Mourvèdre blend, is terrific. Succulent and racy in the glass, the 2015 offers striking textural depth and resonance. Sweet red cherry and plum notes, along with soft, silky contours, give the wine much of its appeal. The 2015 can be enjoyed with minimal cellaring. Time in bottle will bring out more aromatic nuance. Today, the just-bottled 2015 is quite primary.
Composed of 60% Grenache, 23% Syrah and 17% Mourvèdre, the 2015 Cuvée Jeanne Marie Proprietary Red reveals a medium to deep garnet-purple color and nose of cherry cordial, raspberry tart and spice cake with suggestions of garrigue, dried lavender and chopped herbs. Medium to full-bodied and packed with red berry preserves and spice layers, it has a chewy backbone supporting the gregarious fruit, finishing with a pleasant herbal lift.
