Note di degustazione
This is the first vintage of a Chardonnay from Platt vineyard. The 2017 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard was barrel fermented and aged 15 months in 33% new French oak. It has an open nose of warm Golden Delicious apple, honey toast, citrus blossom, quince paste, warm white peach, cashew, lemon peel and creamy touches. Light to medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with savory stone fruits framed by tangy acidity, finishing long and full of zippy energy. 120 cases produced.

Honeycomb, ripe orchard fruit, a kiss of botrytis, and ample spice notes all emerge from the 2017 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard, which comes from a site on the Sonoma Coast. Rich, full-bodied, and concentrated on the palate, it has bright acidity, a big mid-palate, and a great finish. It’s another powerful yet still balanced and lively Chardonnay from Brown that’s well worth seeking out. Drink it over the coming 7-8 years.
The 2017 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard is racy and alluring from the very first taste. Orange peel, mint, chamomile, dried flowers and buttery notes infuse this sumptuous, oily Chardonnay. The Platt is one of the more overt wines in this range. All of the elements simply fall into place effortlessly. A final note of botrytis-tinged nuance adds to the wine's immeasurable appeal.
