From the adjacent Hyde and Beresini vineyards (both planted to Hyde shot-cluster old-vine Wente clone cuttings). HS stands for Hyde Select. 90 cases produced. Deep gold. Big, fat and slightly smoky. Very evolved. (JR)

The 2019 Chardonnay (Carneros) is a gorgeous wine. Apricot, mint, tangerine oil and white flowers give the 2019 striking nuance and plenty of exoticism. Oily and rich in the glass, the 2019 is loaded with class. The Carneros Chardonnay is a blend from Hyde and Beresini. It will drink well for a least a handful of years.
A barrel selection of the Hyde and Beresini vineyards in Carneros, the 2019 Chardonnay Napa Carneros has a fragrant nose of bitter lemon, pear drops and yellow apples with a waft of beeswax. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers a lovely suggestion of oiliness to the texture with a refreshing backbone and zesty finish.
