Saturated red-ruby color. Aromas of black raspberry and mocha; distinct notes of torrefaction. Sweet dark berry flavors are quite dry and uncompromising, and not yet displaying much complexity. Fairly substantial tannins suggest that this wine will benefit from at least a couple years of bottle aging.
