Note di degustazione
The outstanding 2003 Vieux-Os Zinfandel Ira Carter Vineyard (from 35-year-old vines that yielded one ton per acre; 16.2% alcohol) is a dense, more fruit-driven wine with a heady, intoxicating nose of dried herbs, Asian spice, black cherries, and pepper. It is full-bodied, spicy, and ideal for drinking over the next 2-3 years. Tel. (707) 942-1115

(16.3% alcohol) Ruby-red. High-toned nose showed some distinctly green notes initially, then del ivered enticing black raspberry and graphite. Very sweet, creamy and large-scaled zinfandel, with strong, high-toned berry flavors boasting impressive density and power. The huge tannins come late. Finishes quite dry, with a bit of heat showing.
