Note di degustazione
Tight and pure, this is fully focused on lemon zest, grapefruit, neutral white flowers and chalky minerality. Slightly leafy with depth and vibrancy. Light-bodied, it shines with pinprick bubbles and citrus intensity on the palate. Long, lemony, tingling acidity. Salty mineral finish with aspirin-like energy and toasty complexity. Drinkable now but best in mid-2027 or 2028.

A very subtle and fresh blanc de blancs, showing minerals and chalk with some flint and reduction. It\'s medium bodied, bright and intense, linear and racy with a vivid finish. I like the brioche and subtle apple and tar undertones. Excellent aperitif. 4.5 years aged on yeast. Disgorged August 2023. Dosage 7g/l. Drink or hold.
Very toasty nose with notes of brioche and dried pear, this is quite a rich style of Blanc de Blancs with impressive depth and a chalky acidity, the finish surprisingly dry. Some nice mature character at the finish, the moderate mousse fitting that well. Disgorged in July 2022. Drink now.
Disgorged in December 2018, the latest rendition of Besserat de Bellefon's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée des Moines exhibits a toasty, reductive bouquet of bread dough, smoky citrus rind and green orchard fruit. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and nicely balanced, with a frothy mousse, lively acids and a clean, harmonious finish. This is a well-made Blanc de Blancs that reflects this marque's recent progress.
