The 2011 Proprietary Red The Mariner, a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot and 4% Malbec, shows a slightly more expansive texture, ripe blackcurrant fruit, not a lot of complexity, and a straightforward personality. Satisfying and pleasurable, it can be drunk over the next 5-7 years.
