Note di degustazione
Wallis's 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Little Sister is dominated by hard, overpowering tannins. There is no shortage of intensity or energy in the aromas and flavors, but today the wine is very much closed in on itself. Hints of iron, smoke, licorice and freshly cut roses add complexity to the dark fruit. There appears to be good potential here, but readers will have to be patient.

These two 2010 Cabernet Sauvignons from Wallis were both massively shut down and virtually impossible to evaluate. I am not sure if that is simply the personality of the vintage asserting itself, or if the wines have closed down in bottle, but either way the 2010s are impenetrable at this stage and are likely to stay that way for at least a few years.
